In the human body, cells undergo biochemical processes. These functions utilize oxygen to generate energy. A procedure of this nature is known as oxidation. Which develops waste products like free radicals that can be harmful.

Definitively, antioxidants are referred to as a set of substances that are chemically different. These chemicals work to inhibit or tackle oxidation. Antioxidant enzyme systems can be divided into endogenous. Enzymes are produced by our body. Or exogenous, an enzyme that is introduced by the ingestion of supplements or food.

Natural antioxidants are found in vegetables and fruits. They are divided into groups of three: carotenoids, phenolic compounds, and vitamins.

Glutathione

Glutathione is the most important antioxidant. It’s one of the most powerful antioxidants our body creates. It puts together three amino acids that fight the signs of aging through rejuvenating the circulatory system and intestines. Its anti-aging properties are very strong. It can protect tissues, cells, and organs in the body.

In addition to this, glutathione also has detoxifying characteristics. It has the built-in capacity to chelate toxic metals like aluminum, lead, and mercury. It can carry them away and remove those deposits from the body.

It also protects your body from liver damage that is caused by taking drugs or drinking too much alcohol. Research has shown that glutathione can strengthen the immune system, prevent degenerative diseases, like Alzheimer’s and dementia, and also protect the crystalline lens in your eye. To make it more effective, you should combine it with vitamin E and selenium.

Vitamin C

Usually referred to as ascorbic acid. This is the strongest water-soluble antioxidant discoverable in blood plasma. Because it’s water-soluble, it’s able to capture free radicals located in cellular aqueous sections. It can regenerate vitamin E or tocopherol, which is a fat-soluble vitamin.

Naturally, our bodies can synthesize vitamin C.

Vitamin C can be taken through leafy greens, herbal products, fruits, vegetables. If you’re unable to ingest enough vitamin C in your day-to-day diet. Taking 500 mg of vitamin C capsules is recommended. Taking in the morning is the basic rule. Don’t take it after 6 p.m so that you don’t become hyperactive even when you need to sleep.

Wheat germ oil & sunflower seed

These ingredients are packed with vitamin E. It’s recommended that you take sunflower seed oil with seasonal vegetables and salads. You can use wheat germ oil at least twice a day together with food.

This vitamin can delay the aging process significantly. This is one of the reasons it is used widely in cosmetic formulaes. For example, you will find it in anti-wrinkle creams because it’s able to maintain the skin’s physiological condition.

Pomegranates – red grains

These red grains contain potent polyphenolic antioxidants that have ellagic acid. These powerful anti-mutagenic characteristics can fight genetic mutation, which can lead to the development of tumors. It also has good effects on the cardiovascular system by decreasing blood pressure and LDL oxidation.

All the antioxidants listed above can be found in capsule or tablet form and have greater and more potent concentrations compared to getting them through food. So if you want to your body function well and perform at its best, investing in one or all of these products can almost guarantee you a long and healthy life.
