During the COVID-19 pandemic, individuals stay with social tension and frequently keep away from communicating with other people to avoid feeling afraid. However, taking precautions from avoiding socialization, buying some of the best antiseptics, and taking a personal slicer, can provide short-term relief.

Even though it is the pandemic situation and each state, has called on a lockdown. Still, many people are forced to go out and work for their families. Those areas where people are still going for work need to upgrade the exit and entry areas. For instance, nowadays, there is a high demand for shoe sanitizer machine.

For the working lot, it is incredibly pivotal that they learn these things from the companies and offices and try to practice them at their home.

Here are a few tips that should be followed for sanitizing yourself when you arrive home after a long day at work.

Keep a washable bag with you.

When you go out for work, you need to use several accessories while working—for example, the wristwatch, your ID, and your mobile phone. The chances are high that these items are highly contaminated, so you must keep them separated from the rest of your things. Before entering your house, you should put all these accessories in that washable bag. It would help you to disinfect them after you reach home.

Disinfect your shoes.

If you are wearing leather shoes, then a simple spray of sole sanitizer or disinfectant is enough. However, if your shoes are washable, I suggest you keep them in another washable bag and wash them.

In case you cannot wash and dry them until the next morning. Then you should buy some disinfecting hand wipes for cleaning your shoes. Lastly, do not take your shoes inside your house, unless it is imperative. If possible, place a shoe rack outside or by your door so you won’t have to step inside in your shoes. It will also be more convenient to clean or spray down your shoes if they’re organized in one place.

Put your clothes away.

When you enter your house, do not try to greet anybody, especially your kids or parents. It is highly recommended that you put your washing machine right in the first bathroom or garage until the pandemic fades away.

Put your clothes in the same washable bag; you have put your shoes and take them to the washing area. Do not wait for someone to wash your clothes. You should simply sanitize your clothes before washing them. Spray some sanitizer on your clothes, mix some bleach and disinfectant in a tub, and soak your clothes.

Take a bath

Even though you have sanitized your hands, but you still need to take a bath. Always use an anti-bacterial soap for bathing. Do not use bathtubs, instead use showers. This way, you will not let the virus stay in your bathroom. After taking a shower, don’t forget to disinfect the ‘high touch’ parts of your bathroom. These include the shower head, shower curtain, faucet, door knob, and light switch.

Make sure your nails are cut.

Long nails can cause a severe threat to your general health, but during the pandemic, they can be sources for the spread of the virus. So, if you are to go out for work, make sure that your nails are cut. Better yet, wear disposable gloves whenever you go out of the house. This is extremely important, especially if your job requires you to touch a lot of objects or come in contact with many people. If your company doesn’t provide disposable gloves, it’s better to get your own pair or keep a stash for daily use.

There are many types of disposable gloves in the market, but nitrile gloves are taking the spotlight these days. Unlike the more common latex gloves, nitrile gloves are hypoallergenic since they’re made from synthetic rubber. Nitrile rubber is also known for being durable and hard-wearing, making it an ideal choice for professionals in the medical, dental, and cosmetic industries. What to do for the next day?

Now when you are leaving for the next day. Do the following things for a safer day.

  • Take your lunch in a disposable bag.

When you go out for groceries, make sure that you have bought a lot of disposable bags to keep your lunch. This way, your lunch would be clean until you eat it.

  • Do not wear accessories.

When you go out for work, try not to wear any accessories. If they are compulsory to wear, then you may take them in a bag. It will reduce the risk of the spread of the virus.

Lastly, when you are practicing all these tips. You should reflect on what you have gained all day. It will help you maintain an optimistic mind because all these new activities can make you feel burdened. However, for the time being, these are the only safety measures to stop the spread of the lethal virus.
