Today I heard from one of my friend that dengue can be cured by papaya leaves, it boosted platelet counts in many patient very quickly but what was the scientific explanation to this i was always curious today I am writing about the facts which I found after searching for a long time.

It is a fact that there is no cure for dengue fever and therefore it is a much feared fatal illness. However, recently there has been a lot written about papaya leaves that seem to prove itself as a cure not to dengue fever only but also to many other diseases.

IS IT REALLY A CURE?

Research in USA has found a substance in the leaves of papaya leaf juice to be million times stronger than the most strongest available anti-cancer drug.

Actually speaking papaya leaves contain acetogenins – active compounds that modulate the production of ATP in mitochondria of specific cells – which affects the viability of specific cells and the growth of blood vessels that nourish them.

Acetogenins found in papaya have been shown to have dramatic biological activity, being active against worms, some viruses, fungi, and many cancer cell lines.

However, pawpaw should not be used with any kind of thyroid stimulators (e.g.: KC-X) or with CoQ10 (coenzyme Q10). For cancer patients taking Laetrile, it is important to consume papaya and pineapple each day, as the natural enzyme strips the coating on the cancer cells, so that the B17 in the kernels can work.
